Jewelry made to be lived in.
We choose PVD plating for many of our pieces because beautiful jewelry shouldn't need to be saved for special occasions.
PVD — Physical Vapor Deposition — creates a thin, durable finish bonded to the surface of our 316L stainless steel jewelry. Compared with traditional plating, it offers excellent resistance to everyday wear, moisture and tarnishing, helping your pieces hold onto their finish longer.
Made for everyday life.
Water-resistant and durable, PVD-plated stainless steel is designed to handle considerably more of real life than traditional plated jewelry.
A finish that lasts.
PVD creates a strong bond with the surface of the metal, giving it excellent wear resistance and helping your jewelry maintain its colour and finish over time.
316L stainless steel underneath.
We pair PVD plating with 316L stainless steel — a strong, low-maintenance base metal that makes these pieces especially easy to wear.
Less precious. More personal.
Wear it to work. Wear it out. Take it travelling. Let it become part of your everyday uniform. Jewelry is better when you actually get to live in it.
Nothing is indestructible, of course. A little care will always help your jewelry live its longest life.

Most Indigo Muse pieces begin with 316L stainless steel — a durable, corrosion-resistant metal chosen specifically for jewelry that's meant to be worn often.
316L is a high-quality grade of stainless steel with excellent resistance to moisture, tarnishing and everyday wear. It's strong, low-maintenance and hypoallergenic for most people, making it an ideal base for our PVD-plated pieces.
And the base metal matters. Plating is only as good as what's underneath it. Using 316L stainless steel means that beneath that gold or silver finish is a strong, stable metal — not a mystery alloy waiting to turn your skin green.
For pieces made from other materials, like our gold-filled jewelry, you'll always find the full material details listed on the individual product page.
No mystery metals. No guessing. Just materials we're happy to tell you about.

It shouldn’t — but everyone’s skin is different.
Green discoloration is typically caused by certain metals reacting with moisture, sweat, skincare products and your individual skin chemistry. Things like your skin’s natural pH can affect how metals interact with your body, which means no jewelry brand can guarantee exactly how every piece will behave on every person.
That’s why we care about what’s underneath the finish. Our PVD pieces use 316L stainless steel as their base metal — never mystery alloys. It’s durable, corrosion-resistant and much less reactive than many of the inexpensive base metals commonly used in fashion jewelry.
For most people, green discoloration isn’t something we expect from our PVD-plated 316L stainless steel pieces. But individual skin chemistry varies, and we’d rather be transparent about that than promise you something no jewelry brand can guarantee.
No mystery metals. Just materials we’re happy to tell you about.

Our PVD-plated 316L stainless steel pieces are water-resistant and made for everyday life, so normal exposure to water isn't something you need to panic about.
That said, water-resistant doesn't mean indestructible. We don't recommend prolonged or repeated exposure to chlorine, salt water, hot tubs, harsh chemicals or cleaning products, as these can eventually affect even a durable PVD finish.
An occasional shower is very different from a summer spent in the pool. A little common sense and care will help your jewelry stay beautiful for much longer.

YWear it. Live in it. Just give it a little love.
Our PVD-plated 316L stainless steel pieces are made for everyday wear, so you don't need to treat them like they're precious. They're water-resistant, durable and designed to handle real life.
To keep yours looking its best, wipe it occasionally with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove oils, skincare and everyday buildup. If it needs a little more cleaning, use mild soap and warm water, rinse well and dry thoroughly.
While PVD is incredibly durable, no jewelry is indestructible. Chlorine, salt water, harsh cleaning products and repeated exposure to chemicals can shorten the life of any finish, so we recommend limiting prolonged exposure when you can.
When you're not wearing your jewelry, store it somewhere clean and dry, ideally away from other pieces that could scratch it.

Our jewelry is made with sensitive skin in mind.
Most Indigo Muse pieces are made with 316L stainless steel, a durable, corrosion-resistant metal that is generally well tolerated by sensitive skin. We also carefully select our other materials and always list what each piece is made from on its product page — because you deserve to know what you're wearing.
That said, no jewelry can be guaranteed allergy-free for everyone. Skin sensitivities and allergies are incredibly individual, and reactions can vary depending on your own skin chemistry and sensitivities.
If you have a known metal allergy, we always recommend checking the full material description before purchasing and choosing pieces you already know your skin tolerates well.
No mystery metals. No hidden materials. Just clear information so you can choose what's right for you.

Because a higher price doesn't always mean a better piece of jewelry.
There are a lot of things built into a traditional retail price that have nothing to do with the piece itself — storefront rent, large inventories, elaborate packaging, branded boxes and tissue, promotional gifts, staffing and larger retail margins.
Indigo Muse works differently.
We're a very small business with low overhead. We keep intentionally limited quantities on hand and often purchase our pieces alongside larger wholesale orders, which allows us to keep inventory lean while benefiting from larger production runs.
We also keep packaging simple. No elaborate boxes. No layers of branded tissue. No “free” extras that ultimately have to be worked into the price you pay.
And most importantly, we don't use price to manufacture a perception of quality.
Our pricing reflects what it actually costs us to source and sell a piece while keeping Indigo Muse sustainable as a small business. We choose our materials carefully, tell you exactly what they're made from, and keep our margins reasonable.
Sometimes that means you'll find something here for significantly less than you might expect to see elsewhere.
Same beautiful materials. Less between you and the jewelry.

Due to the personal nature of jewelry and for hygiene reasons, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect sizing, or items that have been worn.
Of course, if something arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, that's different — we want to make it right.
Please contact us at indigomusejewelry@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item, packaging, and any damage or defect. We may request additional photos or information so we can properly assess what happened.
Once we've reviewed everything, we'll determine the appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, repair, store credit, or refund depending on the circumstances and availability.
Please don't discard, alter, repair, or return an item before contacting us. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, improper care, or damage that occurs after the item has been worn is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Sale items
All sale, clearance and promotional items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

A little bit of time, and a lot of care.
Indigo Muse is a one-woman shop. Every order is picked, checked and packed by me — and many of the little things tucked inside your package, from printed cards to care materials, are made and hand-cut here too.
Most orders are packed and on their way within 3–7 business days. Often it's sooner, but this little window gives me enough time to give every order the attention it deserves (and leaves a little room for real life, too).
Once your order has shipped, delivery time depends on the shipping method and destination selected at checkout. Processing time and shipping time are separate, so please keep both in mind when ordering for a particular date.
How does shipping work?
Canadian orders are shipped from British Columbia. Available shipping options and rates will be shown at checkout.
If you select an untracked shipping option, your order will not include tracking or delivery confirmation. Once an untracked parcel has entered the postal system, we're unable to locate or track it if it is delayed or lost.
For orders with tracking, you'll receive your tracking information once your package is on its way.
Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. Indigo Muse cannot be responsible for packages delivered to an address entered incorrectly at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International delivery times vary by destination and may be affected by customs processing.
Any duties, taxes, tariffs or customs fees charged by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in your Indigo Muse order.
Once a parcel has entered the postal system, delays caused by the carrier or customs are unfortunately outside our control — but if something looks genuinely wrong, you're always welcome to reach out, and we'll help however we reasonably can.

We do.
Indigo Muse has always been rooted in small business, so we understand that bringing a new brand into your shop can feel like a bit of a leap.
That’s why we don’t require an opening-order minimum. Start with the pieces that feel right for your shop, see what your customers respond to, and grow from there.
If you're interested in carrying Indigo Muse, send us a little about your shop, where you're located, and we can send you our catalogue at indigomusejewelry@gmail.com. We'll get back to you with current availability and wholesale information.
