indigo Muse has always been a love letter to women.

Founded by Darcy in 2017, Indigo Muse grew from something that began years earlier — a community built around self-love, connection and the complicated experience of being a woman in a world constantly telling us how we should look, feel and be.

Before the jewelry, Darcy was an award-winning hair and makeup artist working in film. She spent her days surrounded by beautiful women, yet heard the same things again and again — the ways they wished they looked different, the ways they felt they didn't quite fit, the quiet feeling that somehow they weren't enough.

The more she listened, the more universal it all seemed.

We wanted to belong. To feel beautiful. To feel like ourselves.

So she created a place for women to do exactly that.

What began as a blog about self-love and acceptance grew into a community of more than 75,000 women a month — talking, connecting, celebrating one another and realizing that perhaps we were never as alone in any of it as we thought.

Then, in 2017, that idea became something you could wear.

Indigo Muse jewelry was created around a simple belief: beautiful things shouldn't be reserved for a certain kind of woman — or a certain kind of budget.

And nearly a decade later, Indigo Muse is still a one-woman show. Every part of it passes through Darcy's hands — the design and curation, photography and creative direction, website and social media, packaging and the parcel that eventually arrives at your door.

“We keep things small on purpose.”

Small collections. Minimal packaging. Thoughtful materials. Small markups. More sustainable processes, including PVD plating chosen for its durability, longevity and lower environmental impact.

“Our photography follows the same philosophy. When you see a woman wearing Indigo Muse, you see her. Real skin. Real texture. Real lines. We don't retouch our models into different versions of themselves.”

Because the point was never perfection.

Indigo comes from the idea of the indigo child — something intuitive, brilliant and unmistakably its own.

Muse is an invitation: Be your own.

Everything is connected. And Indigo Muse is still what it was at the very beginning — women celebrating women, and a reminder that there has never been only one way to be beautiful.
